Back in my early 30's I decided to say goodbye to my cushy and stable advertising job to go serve drinks on a cruise ship. Never had I ever been so spontaneous and intentionally reckless. I loved every minute of it. Ultimately, I returned from my quarter-life crisis and went back to the real world, but the memories will live on. Well, at least until I hit my mid-life crisis.

I wrote a TV pilot called "Three Decks Below" based on my wild escapades on the cruise ship. I naively tried to leave advertising again to sell the show. What a disaster.
